Hellooo Everyone!!! I’m sooo excited to reveal a cover for possibly a new favorite author! “A Stolen Heart” the forth book in the “The Miraveld Chronicles” by Selina R. Gonzalez!!! Eek!!!

Okay, guys, I have been wanting to read Gonzalez’s books for quite a while now and had actually bought the first three books in the “The Miraveld Chronicles” a few months back and decided to read the first one in preparation for this cover reveal. And oh! I was not prepared for how much I was going to love “A Thieving Curse”! Each book in the “The Miraveld Chronicles” is loosely based off a fairytale; “A Thieving Curse” being inspired by “Beauty and the Beast” but with a dragon (I mean, let’s face it, she really had me at dragon and the beautiful flying scenes). Gonzalez’s writing managed to make me laugh, cry (or sobbing, that one scene was brutal), gasp, swoon, wanting to shake the characters, and getting me inspired by the very well written scenes of courtly politics. Plus, Alex, because… Alex!

Not convinced???

Well, what if I were to tell you that “A Stolen Heart” (The Miraveld Chronicles #4) is loosely inspired by the “Goose Girl” and has fae in it!?!

Well, if you are still not convinced, just wait to feast your eyes on the cover. It is gorgeous!

So, with nothing further to do, let’s get this cover reveal on the road!

“A Stolen Heart”

(The Miraveld Chronicles #4)

Book cover of "A Stolen Heart" by Selina R. Gonzalez

About

She was given a second chance to live a peaceful life.
She should have guessed the world wouldn’t be so kind.

With her vengeance complete, enchantress Callista has settled into a quiet life. Her routine is shattered when a visitor arrives—the brother she left to die is alive.

Callista’s joy is short-lived. A new king has been crowned, but not everyone is pleased, including a lord who needs a witch for his plans. To save her brother’s life, Callista switches places with the king’s prospective bride using the dark magic she swore to abandon.

But neither Callista nor her villainous master accounted for the king’s best friend, Vallyn Drake, seeing through her disguise. He can’t prove Callista isn’t who she claims to be, but the secretly half-fae general is determined to uncover who she is and what she’s plotting…

If only he weren’t so drawn to her.

As Callista and Vallyn dance around mutual suspicion and fascination, the true villains grow impatient. Vallyn swore to protect the king with his life. But if Callista doesn’t kill the king, she may lose her brother a second time.

An enemies-to-lovers loose reimagining of “The Goose Girl”. This book is a direct sequel to “A Fated Quest, The Miraveld Chronicles book 3”.

Selina R. Gonzalez is a Colorado native with mountains in her blood and dreams that top 14,000 feet. She loves chocolate, fantasy, costumes, bread, history, superheroes, faux leather, things that sparkle, medieval Britain, snark, dogs, and Jesus—not in that order.

She loves to travel, and has driven coast-to-coast in the US, visited Britain three times (once for a semester at Oxford), and moved to Maine for four and half months. She has a list of places to go as long as Pikes Peak is tall, but always comes back home to Colorado.

Isn’t the cover pretty!?! I am so excited for its release! Eek! I have first fallen in love with the “Goose Girl” by Shannon Hale’s retelling of it and I’m super interested in seeing how Gonzalez is going to weave some of those elements in her tale. Plus, an enchantress assassin and a half-fae guy!?! I’m sold!

So what do you think about the cover for “A Stolen Heart”? Who’s excited for its release? Let me know in the comments down below!

Enjoy the Adventure! =D
